  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to crimes; making it a felony to disseminate 
  1.3             child pornography; amending Minnesota Statutes 1998, 
  1.4             section 617.247, subdivision 3. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 617.247, 
  1.7   subdivision 3, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 3.  [DISSEMINATION PROHIBITED.] A person who 
  1.9   disseminates a photographic representation of sexual conduct 
  1.10  which involves a minor, knowing or with reason to know its 
  1.11  content and character and that an actual minor is an actor or 
  1.12  photographic subject in it, is guilty of a gross misdemeanor 
  1.13  felony.
