  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to state government; appropriating money for 
  1.3             an advisory task force to consider a Minnesota museum 
  1.4             of music. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MUSIC MUSEUM TASK FORCE.] 
  1.7      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund for the 
  1.8   biennium ending June 30, 1999, to the commissioner of trade and 
  1.9   economic development for an advisory task force to conduct a 
  1.10  planning and feasibility study of establishing a Minnesota 
  1.11  museum of music.  The task force shall consist of three citizens 
  1.12  appointed by the committee on jobs, energy, and community 
  1.13  development in the senate and three citizens appointed by the 
  1.14  committee on economic development and international trade in the 
  1.15  house of representatives.  It shall report to the chairs of 
  1.16  those committees by January 1, 1999, on its findings.
