  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; allowing subagents to 
  1.3             retain a commission on the sale of sporting licenses; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 97A.485, by 
  1.5             adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 97A.485, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 7a.  [SUBAGENT'S COMMISSION.] A subagent appointed 
  1.10  under subdivision 3 may retain a commission of eight percent of 
  1.11  all license fees collected by the subagent, excluding: 
  1.12     (1) the small game surcharge; 
  1.13     (2) all issuing fees; and 
  1.14     (3) the license fee for a license issued under section 
  1.15  97A.475, subdivision 6, clause (2).
