A bill for an act
relating to game and fish; regulating stands and
blinds on public lands; proposing coding for new law
in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 97B.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin [97B.326] STANDS AND BLINDS ON PUBLIC LANDS.

new text begin (a) Any unoccupied permanent stand or blind on public land
is public and not the property of the person who constructed it.

new text begin (b) No person may cut live trees on public forest lands
without a permit except that lateral tree branches less than one
inch in diameter may be removed in constructing, erecting, or
accessing an elevated stand or scaffold.
