A bill for an act
relating to human services; providing a rate increase for an intermediate care
facility in Red Wing; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008,
section 256B.5013, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 256B.5013, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding section 256B.5012, the payment
rate of a 24-bed intermediate care facility for persons with developmental disabilities in
Red Wing with a per diem rate of $193.02 on February 1, 2009, shall be increased to
$243.28, effective October 1, 2009.

Sec. 2. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, for the purposes of section 1.
