  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to alcoholic beverages; authorizing the St. 
  1.3             Louis county board to issue one on-sale intoxicating 
  1.4             malt liquor license. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [ST. LOUIS COUNTY; ON-SALE LICENSE.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding any state or local law or charter provision 
  1.8   to the contrary, the St. Louis county board may issue one 
  1.9   on-sale intoxicating malt liquor license to an establishment 
  1.10  located in township 65, range 18, section 33.  The county board 
  1.11  shall set the fee for the license.  The license is subject to 
  1.12  all provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not 
  1.13  inconsistent with this section. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective on approval by the St. Louis county 
  1.16  board and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
