  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to public finance; validating bonds issued by 
  1.3             Anoka county for public safety radio improvements. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [BONDS ISSUANCE VALIDATED.] 
  1.6      The provisions of Minnesota Statutes, sections 373.47, 
  1.7   subdivision 1, and 473.907, subdivision 3, requiring prior 
  1.8   review and approval by the public radio safety committee do not 
  1.9   apply to the general obligation bonds issued by Anoka county in 
  1.10  a principal amount of $10,500,000 on November 20, 2002. 
  1.11     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective upon compliance 
  1.12  by the governing body of Anoka county with the provisions of 
  1.13  Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
