  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             design and architectural drawings of a World War II 
  1.4             veterans memorial. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [WORLD WAR II VETERANS MEMORIAL; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.8      $150,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of administration in fiscal year 2000 for design 
  1.10  and architectural drawings for a World War II veterans 
  1.11  memorial.  The design is subject to approval by the capitol area 
  1.12  architectural and planning board.  The commissioner of veterans 
  1.13  affairs shall convene an advisory group, including members of 
  1.14  veterans organizations to review and make recommendations about 
  1.15  the design of the memorial.
