  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to veterans; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             veterans home in Fergus Falls. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.6      (a) $2,000,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 and 
  1.7   $2,120,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1999 from the general 
  1.8   fund to the veterans homes board of directors for operating 
  1.9   costs associated with the construction and phased-in operation 
  1.10  of the Fergus Falls veterans home. 
  1.11     (b) $216,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 and 
  1.12  $1,449,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1999 from the special 
  1.13  revenue fund to the veterans homes board of directors for 
  1.14  operating costs associated with the construction and phased-in 
  1.15  operation of the Fergus Falls veterans home.
