  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; providing rate increases 
  1.3             for a nursing facility in Becker county; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.434, by adding a 
  1.5             subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.434, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 4c.  [FACILITY RATE INCREASE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2001.] 
  1.10  For the rate year beginning July 1, 2001, a nursing facility in 
  1.11  Becker county licensed for 102 beds shall have its operating 
  1.12  cost per diems increased by the following amounts: 
  1.13     (1) case mix class A, $4.58; 
  1.14     (2) case mix class B, $5.67; 
  1.15     (3) case mix class C, $6.90; 
  1.16     (4) case mix class D, $8.03; 
  1.17     (5) case mix class E, $9.19; 
  1.18     (6) case mix class F, $9.27; 
  1.19     (7) case mix class G, $10.25; 
  1.20     (8) case mix class H, $12.10; 
  1.21     (9) case mix class I, $12.76; 
  1.22     (10) case mix class J, $13.77; and 
  1.23     (11) case mix class K, $15.92. 
  1.24  The increases provided under this subdivision shall be included 
  1.25  in the facility's total payment rate for purposes of determining 
  2.1   future rates under this section or any other section.
