  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lottery; requiring annual reports on 
  1.3             maximizing revenues to environmental trust fund; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 349A.15. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 349A.15, is 
  1.7   amended to read: 
  1.8      349A.15 [REPORT.] 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [FINANCIAL REPORT.] The director shall file 
  1.10  an annual report with the governor and legislature which must 
  1.11  include a complete statement of lottery revenues, administrative 
  1.12  and operating costs, net proceeds transferred, and other 
  1.13  financial transactions for the period the report covers. 
  1.14     Subd. 2.  [ENVIRONMENTAL TRUST FUND REPORT.] The director 
  1.15  shall file an annual report with the chairs of the senate and 
  1.16  house of representatives standing committees with jurisdiction 
  1.17  over environmental finance on the director's plans to maximize 
  1.18  lottery revenue to the environment and natural resources trust 
  1.19  fund.
