A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; requiring dike repair
on certain state lands; amending Minnesota Statutes
2004, section 103G.505, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 103G.505, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin A dike that controls water levels
and flows, is located on land under the authority of the
commissioner of natural resources, and is not functioning
properly must be repaired by the commissioner within six months
of the discovery that the dike is not functioning properly.
