  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to health; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             continuation and expansion of Minnesota ENABL; 
  1.4             repealing Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 145.9256. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $1,000,000 is appropriated for fiscal year 1998, and 
  1.8   $1,000,000 is appropriated for fiscal year 1999 from the general 
  1.9   fund to the commissioner of health for the continuation and 
  1.10  expansion of the Minnesota education now and babies later (MN 
  1.11  ENABL) program.  The appropriation shall include the 
  1.12  continuation of the contract with the attorney general's office 
  1.13  for the development and implementation of the media and public 
  1.14  relations campaign.  
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.16     Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 145.9256, is repealed.
