  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing private sale of 
  1.3             certain surplus state land in Anoka County. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [PRIVATE SALE OF STATE WILDLIFE LAND; ANOKA 
  1.6   COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 to 
  1.8   94.16 and 97A.135, subdivision 2, the commissioner of natural 
  1.9   resources may sell by private sale the land in the Lamprey Pass 
  1.10  wildlife management area described in paragraph (c). 
  1.11     (b) The conveyance shall be in a form approved by the 
  1.12  attorney general for consideration of not less than the 
  1.13  appraised value. 
  1.14     (c) The land that may be sold is in the Lamprey Pass 
  1.15  wildlife management area in Anoka county and is described as: 
  1.16     The East 54 feet of the South 830 feet of the Southwest 
  1.17     Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 32 
  1.18     North, Range 22 West, containing one acre, more or less. 
  1.19     (d) This conveyance will provide sufficient setback between 
  1.20  the adjacent landowner's buildings and the state land to meet 
  1.21  minimum zoning requirements to allow for any future alterations 
  1.22  or additions to the landowner's buildings and a buffer zone 
  1.23  between the adjacent landowner and public hunting activities on 
  1.24  the wildlife management area.
