  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the town of Hassan; authorizing the 
  1.3             establishment of a detached facility. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [TOWN OF HASSAN; DETACHED BANKING FACILITY.] 
  1.6      With the prior approval of the commissioner of commerce, a 
  1.7   bank operating its main banking office within six miles of the 
  1.8   town of Hassan may establish and maintain not more than one 
  1.9   detached facility in the town of Hassan.  A bank desiring to 
  1.10  establish a detached facility must follow the approval procedure 
  1.11  prescribed in Minnesota Statutes, section 47.54.  The 
  1.12  establishment of a detached facility according to this section 
  1.13  is subject to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.14  47.51 to 47.57, except to the extent those sections are 
  1.15  inconsistent with this section. 
  1.16     Sec. 2.  [LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.17     Section 1 takes effect the day after compliance by the town 
  1.18  board of the town of Hassan with Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.19  645.021, subdivision 3.
