  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a fund transfer for 
  1.3             independent school district No. 544, Fergus Falls. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 121.912, 
  1.7   121.9121, and 475.61, subdivision 4, on June 30, 1997, 
  1.8   independent school district No. 544, Fergus Falls, may 
  1.9   permanently transfer up to $202,000 from its debt redemption 
  1.10  fund to its building construction fund without making a levy 
  1.11  reduction.
