  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to juveniles; requiring the juvenile court 
  1.3             judge to state intended outcomes in disposition 
  1.4             orders; amending Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 
  1.5             260.181, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 260.181, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 3b.  [INTENDED OUTCOMES.] When the court orders an 
  1.10  out-of-home placement disposition for a child, the court shall 
  1.11  state in its disposition order the intended outcome of the 
  1.12  placement.
