  1.2             relating to retirement; increasing the benefit formula 
  1.3             percentage for the local government correctional 
  1.4             service plan; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.5             section 356.19, subdivision 5a. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 356.19, 
  1.8   subdivision 5a, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 5a.  [LOCAL GOVERNMENT CORRECTIONAL SERVICE PLAN.] 
  1.10  The applicable benefit accrual rate is 1.9 2.0 percent.
