A bill for an act
 relating to the state lottery; requiring the State Agricultural Society to permit the
State Lottery to sell lottery tickets on the State Fairgrounds; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2006, section 349A.06, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 349A.06, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Sales on State Fairgrounds. new text end

new text begin The State Agricultural Society shall permit
the State Lottery to sell lottery tickets on the State Fairgrounds at the State Fair and at
other events on the State Fairgrounds at locations mutually agreeable to the State Lottery
and the State Agricultural Society.
