  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; GREATER MINNESOTA TRANSIT 
  1.6   ASSISTANCE.] 
  1.7      $21,850,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $21,850,000 in fiscal 
  1.8   year 2003 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of transportation for greater Minnesota transit 
  1.10  assistance under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.24.
