  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; appropriating money for 
  1.3             mental health services for children who have emotional 
  1.4             disturbance and exhibit violent or destructive 
  1.5             behavior and for adolescents who have serious 
  1.6             emotional disturbance and exhibit violent behavior. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.9      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.10  commissioner of human services for each year of the biennium 
  1.11  beginning July 1, 2001, for: 
  1.12     (1) family community support services and specialized 
  1.13  residential treatment services under Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.14  245.4882, subdivision 5, for children with emotional disturbance 
  1.15  who exhibit violent or destructive behavior; 
  1.16     (2) grants for community-based services under Minnesota 
  1.17  Statutes, section 245.4886, subdivision 3, for adolescents who 
  1.18  have serious emotional disturbance and exhibit violent behavior; 
  1.19  and 
  1.20     (3) grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 260.152, to 
  1.21  counties for mental health screening of children in the juvenile 
  1.22  court system.
