  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing independent school 
  1.3             district No. 595, East Grand Forks, to use capital 
  1.4             expenditure facilities revenue to acquire and 
  1.5             construct buildings. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CAPITAL EXPENDITURE FACILITIES REVENUE USE.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 124.243, 
  1.9   subdivision 6, clause (2), or any other law to the contrary, 
  1.10  independent school district No. 595, East Grand Forks, may use 
  1.11  up to $1,400,000 in capital expenditure facilities revenue to 
  1.12  acquire and construct buildings for school purposes in fiscal 
  1.13  years 1995 and 1996. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
