  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to Morrison county; authorizing the issuance 
  1.3             of bonds for fairgrounds improvements; requiring a 
  1.4             referendum on the bond issue. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MORRISON COUNTY; FAIRGROUND IMPROVEMENT BONDS; 
  1.7   REFERENDUM.] 
  1.8      Morrison county may issue its general obligation bonds in a 
  1.9   principal amount of not to exceed $1,200,000 for county 
  1.10  fairground improvements, under Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.11  373.40 to 373.42 and chapter 475.  However, the bonds may be 
  1.12  issued only after an election has been held on the question 
  1.13  under Minnesota Statutes, section 475.58, and the voters have 
  1.14  approved the bond issue. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.16     Section 1 is effective the day after the county board of 
  1.17  Morrison county complies with Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.18  645.021, subdivision 3.
