  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to civil actions; imputing liability in dram 
  1.3             shop actions; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, 
  1.4             section 340A.801, subdivision 3. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 340A.801, 
  1.7   subdivision 3, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 3.  [COMPARATIVE NEGLIGENCE.] Actions under this 
  1.9   section are governed by section 604.01.  In applying section 
  1.10  604.01, the liability of an intoxicated person, or any other 
  1.11  person who has actively furnished alcoholic beverages to an 
  1.12  intoxicated person whose actions caused the other person's 
  1.13  death, is imputed to their surviving heirs.
