  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to health; appropriating money for education 
  1.3             and awareness activities to prevent human 
  1.4             immunodeficiency virus. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $500,000 is appropriated for the 2002-2003 biennium from 
  1.8   the general fund to the commissioner of health to be spent, in 
  1.9   accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 144.065, for 
  1.10  education and awareness activities in greater Minnesota to 
  1.11  prevent human immunodeficiency virus.  This appropriation shall 
  1.12  become part of the base level funding for this activity for the 
  1.13  2004-2005 biennium.
