  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             financial assistance to certain resorts affected by 
  1.4             fishing limitations in Canadian waters. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of trade and economic development to assist resorts 
  1.9   in northern Minnesota that have experienced decreased 
  1.10  visitations due to fishing limitations in border waters.
