  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing independent school 
  1.3             district No. 2190, Granite Falls-Clarkfield-Echo, to 
  1.4             levy for costs of operating a swimming pool. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SPECIAL COMMUNITY SERVICE LEVY.] 
  1.7      In addition to other levies it is authorized to make, each 
  1.8   year independent school district No. 2190, Granite 
  1.9   Falls-Clarkfield-Echo, may levy on the property in the former 
  1.10  school district No. 892, Clarkfield, for the costs of operating 
  1.11  the district-owned swimming pool in Clarkfield.  The proceeds of 
  1.12  this levy must be deposited in the district's community service 
  1.13  fund.  The levy may not exceed the net actual cost operation of 
  1.14  the pool in the previous year.  Net actual costs are defined as 
  1.15  operating costs less operating revenues.
