A bill for an act
relating to veterans homes; expanding uses of certain appropriations; amending
Laws 2005, chapter 20, article 1, section 21, subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2005, chapter 20, article 1, section 21, subdivision 2, is amended to
read:

Subd. 2. Asset Preservation

4,000,000

For asset preservation improvements and
betterments of a capital nature at veterans
homes statewide to be spent in accordance
with Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.632.

Up to $2,200,000 of federal money received
by the Minnesota Veterans Homes Board
of Directors as reimbursement for state
capital expenditures at the veterans homes
must be credited to the general fund and
is appropriated to the commissioner of
administration for asset preservation new text begin and

accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section
16A.632.
