  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money to 
  1.3             mitigate effects of Wakota bridge construction project.
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR BUS SERVICE THROUGH BRIDGE 
  1.6   CONSTRUCTION AREA.] 
  1.7      $400,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004, and 
  1.8   $400,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005, are 
  1.9   appropriated from the general fund to the metropolitan council 
  1.10  to pay the operating costs of bus service intended solely or 
  1.11  primarily to mitigate the effects of the Wakota bridge 
  1.12  construction project.
