A bill for an act
relating to economic development; appropriating money
for a theater and arts center in Lanesboro.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the
Fillmore County Board of Commissioners for a grant to the Root
River Valley Friends of the Arts to acquire land for, design,
and construct a theater and arts center in Lanesboro for lease
to the Commonweal Theatre Company and Cornucopia Arts Center.
The appropriation is available for the fiscal year ending June
30, 2006.
