A bill for an act
relating to public safety; appropriating money for a grant to a nonprofit
organization to provide emotional support and help to families and friends of
persons who have died by homicide, suicide, or accident.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $130,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $130,000 in fiscal year 2011 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Department of Public Safety for a grant to a nonprofit organization
dedicated to providing immediate and long-term emotional support and practical help for
the families and friends of persons who have died by homicide, suicide, or accident.
