  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; allowing the taking of two 
  1.3             deer in designated counties during the 1997 and 1998 
  1.4             hunting seasons; amending Laws 1993, chapter 273, 
  1.5             section 1, as amended. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1993, chapter 273, section 1, as amended 
  1.8   by Laws 1994, chapter 623, article 1, section 41, and Laws 1995, 
  1.9   chapter 186, section 110, is amended to read: 
  1.10     Section 1.  [AUTHORIZATION TO TAKE TWO DEER IN CERTAIN 
  1.11  COUNTIES.] 
  1.12     Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 97B.301, 
  1.13  subdivision 2, during the 1994, 1995, and 1996 1997 and 1998 
  1.14  hunting seasons in Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, 
  1.15  Pennington, and Roseau counties a person may obtain one firearms 
  1.16  deer license and one archery deer license in the same license 
  1.17  year and may take one deer under each license.
