A bill for an act
relating to state lands; authorizing sale of certain state lands.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC WATER;
WASHINGTON COUNTY.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision 1, and
the public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Washington County may
convey to Washington County, for market value as determined by the county board, the
tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c).

new text begin (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general for not less than
the market value. The attorney general may make changes to the land description to correct
errors and ensure accuracy.

new text begin (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Washington County and is described as
Government Lot 1, Section 32, Township 32 North, Range 20 West (PID 32.032.20.33.0001).

new text begin (d) Washington County has determined that the land is needed for inclusion in Big
Marine Park Reserve.
