  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; authorizing a combined 
  1.3             angling license for certain senior anglers; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 97A.475, subdivision 
  1.5             6, as amended. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 97A.475, 
  1.8   subdivision 6, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 6.  [RESIDENT FISHING.] Fees for the following 
  1.10  licenses, to be issued to residents only, are: 
  1.11     (1) to take fish by angling, for persons under age 65, $13; 
  1.12     (2) to take fish by angling, for persons age 65 and over, 
  1.13  $4.50; 
  1.14     (3) to take fish by angling, for a combined license for a 
  1.15  married couple, $17.50; 
  1.16     (3a) to take fish by angling, for a combined license for a 
  1.17  married couple with at least one spouse age 65 or over, $12.50; 
  1.18     (4) to take fish by spearing from a dark house, $13; and 
  1.19     (5) to take fish by angling for a period of 24 hours from 
  1.20  the time of issuance, $7.50.  
  1.21     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Section 1 is effective March 1, 1996.
