A bill for an act
relating to environment; declaring Minnesota to be a mining-friendly state;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 93.001.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 93.001, is amended to read:


93.001 new text begin MINNESOTA IS A MINING-FRIENDLY STATE; new text end POLICY FOR
MINERAL DEVELOPMENT.

diversification of the state's mineral economy through long-term support of mineral
