  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $5,900,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.8   Koochiching county to construct a North American bear center 
  1.9   called the Big Bear Country Education Center.
