  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to Beltrami county; increasing the amount 
  1.3             that may be spent for promotion of tourist, 
  1.4             agricultural, and industrial developments; amending 
  1.5             Laws 1967, chapter 558, section 1, subdivision 5, as 
  1.6             amended. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Laws 1967, chapter 558, section 1, subdivision 
  1.9   5, as amended by Laws 1979, chapter 135, section 1, and Laws 
  1.10  1985, chapter 98, section 2, is amended to read:  
  1.11     Subd. 5.  Promotion of tourist, agricultural and industrial 
  1.12  developments.  The amount to be spent annually for the purposes 
  1.13  of this subdivision shall not exceed one dollar five dollars per 
  1.14  capita of the county's population.  
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.16     Section 1 is effective the day after the governing body of 
  1.17  Beltrami county and its chief clerical officer timely complete 
  1.18  their compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, 
  1.19  subdivisions 2 and 3.
