  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing use of capital 
  1.3             health and safety revenue to purchase portable 
  1.4             classrooms by independent school district No. 600, 
  1.5             Fisher. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [HEALTH AND SAFETY REVENUE USE.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 124.83, 
  1.9   subdivision 6, independent school district No. 600, Fisher, may 
  1.10  use capital health and safety revenue to purchase portable 
  1.11  classrooms.  Any proceeds from the subsequent sale of portable 
  1.12  classrooms purchased with health and safety revenue shall be 
  1.13  placed in the district's health and safety account in the 
  1.14  capital fund and shall be used to adjust health and safety 
  1.15  revenue. 
  1.16     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.17     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
