  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Crow Wing county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; CROW WING COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.8   282.018, subdivision 1, Crow Wing county may sell the 
  1.9   tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.10  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.11  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.12     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.13  attorney general. 
  1.14     (c) The land that may be conveyed is located in Crow Wing 
  1.15  county and is described as: 
  1.16     (1) Central Addition No. 2 to Crosby, Lot 1, Block 3; 
  1.17     (2) East 100 feet of West 1000 feet of Government Lot 4, 
  1.18  Section 6, Township 136 North, Range 26 West; and 
  1.19     (3) Seventeenth Addition to Breezy Point Estates to the 
  1.20  City of Breezy Point, Lot 98. 
  1.21     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.22  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.23  returned to private ownership.
