  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for early 
  1.3             childhood family education. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $20,759,240 in fiscal year 2002 and $20,750,400 in fiscal 
  1.7   year 2003, is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of children, families, and learning for early 
  1.9   childhood family education aid according to Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.10  section 124D.135.  The 2002 appropriation includes $2,036,000 
  1.11  for 2001 and $18,795,000 for 2002.  The 2003 appropriation 
  1.12  includes $2,088,360 for 2002 and $18,662,040 for 2003.
