A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating the Tim Nielsen Memorial Bridge;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.14, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin The bridge over Seastade Creek near
Mille Lacs Lake and west of Malmo on Route No. 157, signed as Trunk Highway 18 on
the effective date of this section, is designated as "Tim Nielsen Memorial Bridge." Subject
to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable marking design to memorialize
the bridge and shall erect the appropriate signs as close as practicable to the bridge.
