  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the state building code; providing for 
  1.3             certain energy code rules to remain in effect; 
  1.4             repealing Minnesota Rules, chapters 7672; and 7674. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [ENERGY CODE RULES REMAIN IN EFFECT.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Laws 1999, chapter 135, section 9, 
  1.8   Minnesota Rules, chapter 7670, does not expire on April 15, 
  1.9   2000, but remains in effect for residential buildings not 
  1.10  covered by Minnesota Rules, chapter 7676. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.12     Minnesota Rules, parts 7672.0100; 7672.0200; 7672.0300; 
  1.13  7672.0400; 7672.0500; 7672.0600; 7672.0700; 7672.0800; 
  1.14  7672.0900; 7672.1000; 7672.1100; 7672.1200; 7672.1300; 
  1.15  7674.0100; 7674.0200; 7674.0300; 7674.0400; 7674.0500; 
  1.16  7674.0600; 7674.0700; 7674.0800; 7674.0900; 7674.1000; 
  1.17  7674.1100; and 7674.1200, are repealed. 
  1.18     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final 
  1.20  enactment.
