A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; requiring a report on the diversion of water from
Sucker Lake to White Bear Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SUCKER LAKE WATER DIVERSION TO WHITE BEAR LAKE;
REPORT.

new text begin The commissioner of natural resources shall conduct a feasibility study to assess the
feasibility and estimated costs of allowing water from Sucker Lake in Ramsey County to
be diverted to White Bear Lake. The commissioner shall submit a report on the outcomes
of the study to the chairs and ranking minority members of the house of representatives
and senate committees and divisions with jurisdiction over environment and natural
resources by December 15, 2013.
