  1.1             CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT ON H.F. NO. 1645 
  1.2                          A bill for an act 
  1.3             relating to museums and archives repositories; 
  1.4             regulating loans to and abandoned property of museums 
  1.5             and archives repositories; providing a process for 
  1.6             establishing ownership of property loaned to museums 
  1.7             and archives repositories; proposing coding for new 
  1.8             law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 345.

  1.16     We, the undersigned conferees for H.F. No. 1645, report 
  1.17  that we have agreed upon the items in dispute and recommend as 
  1.18  follows: 
  1.19     
  1.20     That the Senate recede from its amendment and that H.F. No. 
  1.21  1645 be further amended as follows: 
  1.22     Page 6, line 24, delete "After the" 
  1.23     Page 6, line 25, delete everything before the comma and 
  1.24  insert "Effective August 1, 2004" 
  2.1      We request adoption of this report and repassage of the 
  2.2   bill.
