A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the East Metro Rail
Corridor.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. EAST METRO RAIL CORRIDOR; APPROPRIATION.
$1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
transportation for a grant to the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority for
environmental analysis and design of capital improvements associated with grade
separation of Union Pacific and BNSF track between Westminster Junction and Division
Street/Hoffman Interlocking.
EFFECTIVE DATE.
This section is effective the day following final enactment.
