  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to workers' compensation; modifying indemnity 
  1.3             provision; amending Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 
  1.4             176.061, subdivision 10. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 176.061, 
  1.7   subdivision 10, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 10.  [INDEMNITY.] Notwithstanding the provisions of 
  1.9   chapter 65B or any other law to the contrary, an employer has a 
  1.10  right of indemnity for any compensation paid or payable pursuant 
  1.11  to this chapter, regardless of whether such compensation is 
  1.12  recoverable by the employee or the employee's dependents at 
  1.13  common law or by statute, including temporary total 
  1.14  compensation, temporary partial compensation, permanent partial 
  1.15  compensation, medical compensation, rehabilitation, death, and 
  1.16  permanent total compensation.
