  1.2                          A bill for an act 
  1.3             relating to commerce; creating a small business 
  1.4             category under the Money Transmitter Act; modifying 
  1.5             regulations; amending Minnesota Statutes 2001 
  1.6             Supplement, sections 53B.05, subdivision 1; 53B.08, 
  1.7             subdivision 1.

  1.15     We, the undersigned conferees for S.F. No. 3174, report 
  1.16  that we have agreed upon the items in dispute and recommend as 
  1.17  follows: 
  1.18     
  1.19     That the House recede from its amendment and that S.F. No. 
  1.20  3174 be further amended as follows: 
  1.21     Page 1, line 10, before "Each" insert "Each licensee 
  1.22  engaging in money transmission in three or fewer locations in 
  1.23  the state, either directly or through authorized delegates, must 
  1.24  have a net worth of at least $25,000.  Each licensee engaging in 
  1.25  money transmission at more than three locations in the state, 
  1.26  but fewer than seven locations, either directly or through 
  1.27  authorized delegates, must have a net worth of at least $50,000."

  2.2   bill.
