A bill for an act
proposing an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, article IV, section 10;
abolishing the privilege from arrest of legislators.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

new text begin An amendment to the Minnesota Constitution is proposed to the people. If the
amendment is adopted, article IV, section 10, will read:

Sec. 10.

deleted text begin The members of each house in all cases except treason, felony and breach of
the peace, shall be privileged from arrest during the session of their respective houses and
in going to or returning from the same.
