A bill for an act
relating to a grant to the Minnesota Humanities Commission; appropriating
money for a reading program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $300,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2016 from the general fund to the Minnesota
Humanities Commission for a grant to Everybody Wins!-Minnesota, a Minnesota
501(c)(3) corporation, to operate a reading program for Minnesota children. Any balance
in the first year does not cancel but is available in the second year. The base appropriation
for this grant for fiscal year 2018 and later is $300,000.
