A bill for an act
relating to building codes; requiring adoption of certain provisions relating to
radon control; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 16B.61, by adding a
subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 16B.61, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

The commissioner shall incorporate the United States
Environmental Protection Agency's Model Standards and Techniques for Control of
Radon in New Residential Buildings in the code.
